Mychal (pronounced Michael) joined his first ministry internship when he was 18 years old and has spent his entire adult life in some form of ministry. Mychal grew up in Prescott and graduated from Prescott High School in 2009. In 2014 Mychal graduated the Berean School of the Bible program at Global University, that same year he married his wife, Nikki. Together they have served in all areas of the church; including kids church, youth, & young adults. After spending several years as a part of a church plant team in Flagstaff, Arizona, Mychal and Nikki moved back to Prescott with their five children to join the team at Discovery. Mychal served as the associate pastor at Discovery Church before transitioning into the lead pastor role.

Nikki grew up in Maryland and moved to Arizona to go to college. She graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2014 with a BA in psychology.

In their free time, Mychal, Nikki and their family enjoy spending time outdoors. Hiking, camping, gardening, swimming and water fights are among their favorite activities.
